Assessing the Impact of Development on the Setting of Heritage Assets

2-3 October, 2017
University of Leicester

This two-day heritage CPD course covers a broad range of issues including how we define setting and its key concepts, and how to assess significance and its contribution to the heritage industry. With a focus on field trips and practical case studies it offers the chance for those who are beginning their career in heritage to understand a key aspect of heritage protection. More experienced practitioners can discuss the realities and challenges of assessing setting with experts from Historic England.
