Repair of Traditionally Constructed Brickwork

A look at the principles of repair, causes of failure and decay, and use of inappropriate materials and practices. A variety of repair methods are also considered including cutting out bricks and taking out defective joints, stitch repairs and reinforcements, patch-pointing using lime mortar, reversing bricks and use of slips, and plastic repairs.
