Practical Flour Milling

Attendees will spend a day gaining hands-on experience running the watermill under the careful supervision of highly skilled, traditional millers. This includes practical experience of starting and stopping the mill, milling different types of flour, dressing flour and moving grain around the mill. The course will also provide an insight into selling flour including the needs of artisan bakers.
