The annual SPAB summer working party looks at understanding the traditional lime burning industry on Lismore and the properties of Lismore limestone as a quicklime binder. There will be a workshop to train participants and local residents on preparing a maintenance plan and carrying out building maintenance and basic repairs to historic buildings. Please email the SPAB to express interest as places are limited. Formal applications will be advertised soon. |
